Fees:
Application fee: A non-refundable application fee of $100 is due with the application
Program fee: A non-refundable program fee of $1,500.00 is due upon acceptance into the program.
Once a firm has been nominated as a candidate for admission into the MPC the application process begins. The applicant must submit a complete packet, containing all of the required documentation and application fee on or before the application deadline – no exceptions. The application process is rigorous by design, as the candidate must demonstrate the characteristics necessary to be eligible for such a life-changing business opportunity. This process also ensures a worthwhile experience for our mentors, who make such generous investments of their valuable time.
Application Process Overview
- Applicant is nominated for the MPC by a qualifying business organization, corporate entity, community leader or MPC alumni
- Applicant completes the application form and signs it
- Applicant submits the application packet by the deadline, including all of the following:
- Signed and completed application form
- Name and contact information of the nominating person or entity
- Strategic Plan
- Marketing Plan
- Company tax returns for the most recent three years, including all schedules
- Company financial statements for the most recent three years
- Articles of incorporation and corporate by-laws
- Letter of recommendation from nominating party
- Letter of recommendation from a business reference
- Non-refundable application fee of $100.00
- An MPC member evaluates the packet and certifies the candidate’s eligibility.
- A site visit is conducted. Semi-finalists are interviewed.
- Protégé vetting.
- Candidate is notified of admissions decision.
- Protégé firm is informed of the mentor firm assigned. Program fee is due at this time.
- Protégé firm attends a mandatory orientation prior to program startup.
